Refund policy

At DailyCharmStudio, we believe that small accessories can make a meaningful difference to an everyday look. From practical headbands and stylish hairbands to coordinated hair accessory sets, our collection is designed to help customers express their personal style with ease. We want every order to arrive as expected, and we aim to make the process of resolving a product issue clear, fair, and straightforward.

This Return and Refund Policy explains our voluntary change-of-mind return arrangements, the steps for reporting a damaged or incorrect item, and how refunds and replacements are handled. It applies to purchases made through https://www.dailycharmstudio.shop/ and should be read together with our Terms of Service and Shipping Policy.

1. Your Return Options

Our approach depends on the reason for the return.

Change of mind: If you decide that a headband, hairband, or hair accessory set is not suitable for your needs, you may request a return within 30 calendar days after delivery, subject to the eligibility conditions in this policy.

Faulty, damaged, or incorrect products: If an item arrives damaged, has a defect, is materially different from its description, or is not the item you ordered, please contact us so we can assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy under the Australian Consumer Law where applicable.

The 30-day period is a voluntary change-of-mind policy. It does not limit any statutory consumer guarantee or legal remedy that may apply beyond that period.

2. Conditions for Change-of-Mind Returns

To qualify for a standard change-of-mind return, an item should generally meet the following conditions:

  • It is unused and in its original condition.

  • It has not been damaged, altered, washed, or subjected to conditions that affect its resale condition.

  • Original tags, labels, packaging, and included accessories are retained where available.

  • The item can be reasonably identified as part of the original order.

  • The return request is submitted within 30 calendar days after delivery.

Headbands and hairbands should be handled carefully during inspection. Please avoid wearing them for extended periods, applying hair products or cosmetics to them, stretching them unnecessarily, or exposing them to moisture or other conditions that may affect their condition.

For hair accessory sets, please include the components that were supplied as part of the set. If a set contains multiple coordinated pieces, missing components may affect eligibility for a voluntary change-of-mind return.

These conditions apply to voluntary change-of-mind returns. They do not automatically disqualify a product from a remedy for a fault or other failure covered by the Australian Consumer Law.

3. How to Request a Return

Before sending an item back, contact us at [email protected]. Please provide the following information:

  • Your order number or other proof of purchase.

  • The email address used when placing the order.

  • The product name and quantity you wish to return.

  • The reason for the return.

  • Photographs and a description if the item arrived damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect.

Our team will review your request and provide return instructions where appropriate. Please wait for confirmation before mailing a return so that the package can be identified and processed efficiently.

4. Change-of-Mind Returns

We understand that an accessory may look different in person than expected, or that a particular style, color, design, or fit may not suit your preferences. Our voluntary change-of-mind policy is intended to provide a reasonable opportunity to request a return in these circumstances.

Where an item meets the eligibility conditions, customers may request a return within 30 calendar days after delivery.

Unless otherwise stated by us or required by law, customers are responsible for the reasonable postage costs associated with a voluntary change-of-mind return. Original shipping charges, if any, are not refunded solely because a customer changes their mind, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

We recommend reviewing product descriptions and available photographs before purchasing. Colors and appearances may vary slightly because of lighting, photography, and screen settings, but a material difference between a product and its description will be assessed separately.

5. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

We want the products you receive to match the order you placed and to meet the consumer guarantees that apply under Australian law.

Please contact [email protected] as soon as reasonably possible if a product:

  • Arrives visibly damaged.

  • Has a manufacturing or material defect.

  • Is materially different from the product description.

  • Is missing a component included in the listing.

  • Is the wrong item or a different product from the one ordered.

  • Does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee.

Please include your order number, a description of the problem, and photographs where practical. Keep the product and its packaging until we provide further instructions, if reasonably possible.

We will assess the issue and determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and the circumstances of the case. Depending on whether the problem is major or minor, the available remedy may include a refund, replacement, repair where appropriate, or another remedy permitted by law.

Where a product is confirmed to have a problem covered by the consumer guarantees, we will address reasonable return costs in accordance with applicable law. We will not direct customers to another party in place of our own responsibilities as the seller where the law requires us to provide a remedy.

6. Australian Consumer Law Rights

Products sold to Australian consumers may be covered by consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. These guarantees operate automatically and cannot be excluded by a store policy.

The nature of the problem determines the available remedy. For a major failure, a customer may have the right to reject the product and choose a refund or replacement, or to keep the product and seek compensation for the reduction in value. For a minor failure, the business may be entitled to provide an appropriate remedy within a reasonable time, subject to the applicable legal requirements.

A customer is not automatically entitled to a statutory refund simply because they change their mind, choose a different style, or decide they no longer want an item. However, if a business offers a voluntary change-of-mind policy, it should honour that policy according to its stated conditions.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.

7. Refund Assessment and Processing

Once an authorized return is received, we will review the returned item and the reason for the request. We may contact you if additional information is needed.

For approved voluntary change-of-mind returns, refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method. We aim to initiate approved refunds within 5–10 business days after the return is assessed and approved. The time required for funds to appear in an account may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.

This processing estimate does not replace any shorter timeframe or other obligation required by applicable law for a particular remedy.

If an approved refund has not appeared after a reasonable period, please contact your payment provider and then email us with your order number and refund details.

8. Exchanges and Replacement Requests

If you would prefer a different accessory style or another available item, contact [email protected] to discuss the available options.

Voluntary exchanges depend on stock availability and the condition of the returned merchandise. If the requested item is unavailable, we may discuss an alternative or process an eligible refund under this policy.

For faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied products, we will assess the request separately and provide the remedy required by the Australian Consumer Law where applicable. An exchange process will not be used to remove a statutory right to a refund or replacement.

9. Promotional and Discounted Orders

For an eligible voluntary return involving a discounted item, the refund will generally be based on the amount actually paid for the returned item rather than its undiscounted advertised price.

Where an offer required multiple qualifying products or a minimum purchase, returning an item may affect the promotion's eligibility. Any adjustment will be handled transparently and consistently with the offer terms disclosed at the time of purchase and applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits a remedy required by the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Return Packaging and Postage

Please package items securely to reduce the risk of damage during return transit. If you arrange return postage yourself, retain your postage receipt and tracking details until the matter has been resolved.

For voluntary change-of-mind returns, customers are generally responsible for return postage unless we agree otherwise.

If a product has a problem covered by the Australian Consumer Law, reasonable return costs will be handled in accordance with the applicable legal requirements. Please keep receipts for postage or transport expenses that you incur in connection with a faulty-product return.

11. Items That May Not Qualify for Change-of-Mind Returns

To the extent permitted by law, we may decline a voluntary change-of-mind return if the item has been used, damaged by the customer, altered, or returned in a condition that does not meet the eligibility requirements in this policy.

This does not automatically exclude a product from a remedy for a fault or failure covered by the Australian Consumer Law. Each such claim will be assessed on its circumstances and the applicable legal requirements.

12. Order Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible after placing it. We will make reasonable efforts to stop processing an order that has not yet been prepared or dispatched.

Once an order has entered fulfillment or has been handed to a carrier, cancellation may no longer be possible. If the order has already shipped, you may need to follow the applicable return process after delivery.

Any cancellation or refund will be handled in accordance with the circumstances of the order and applicable law.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our products, fulfillment arrangements, customer-service procedures, or legal obligations. The current version will be published on our website with an updated effective date.

Any update will apply subject to applicable law and will not remove consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

This policy is intended to operate consistently with the Australian Consumer Law and applicable Victorian requirements. If any provision conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, that legal requirement will prevail.
